Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using RiddleCrypt (the "service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What this service is
RiddleCrypt is an AI logic puzzle game where you solve riddles to progress through rooms. The puzzles are generated by AI and curated by us. The service is provided as-is, for entertainment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the service with permission from a parent or guardian.
4. Anonymous play and accounts
You can play anonymously without creating an account. We identify you by a random ID stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data, that identity is lost — there's no way for us to recover an anonymous run.
If you create an account in the future, you're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You may not impersonate another person or organization.
5. Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree NOT to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) to play or extract data.
- Attempt to overload, attack, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Reverse-engineer the puzzle database, hint system, or API beyond what's necessary for personal play.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit puzzle content without our written permission.
- Choose a username that's offensive, infringes a trademark, or impersonates someone.
We may rate-limit, suspend, or permanently ban any user who violates these rules, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
6. Puzzles and intellectual property
The puzzles, hints, explanations, and game design on RiddleCrypt are owned by us (or our AI providers, where applicable). They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial play only.
Some puzzles are based on traditional or public-domain riddles. We claim no ownership over folk content that pre-existed our use of it.
7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds
We offer three kinds of paid products: (a) one-time hint packs, (b) recurring premium subscriptions (monthly or annual, auto-renewing), and (c) a one-time annual crypto pass (365 days of premium, paid once in cryptocurrency, no auto-renew). Payments are processed by Stripe (card) and NOWPayments (crypto). We don't store payment credentials.
Subscriptions and auto-renewal: Premium Monthly and Premium Annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, charged to your stored payment method, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the self-service billing portal linked on our pricing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain Premium access until that period ends. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused subscription time, except as required by your local consumer-protection law.
Refund policy (one-time purchases & first-month subscriptions): If you're unhappy with a purchase, contact us within 7 days at playsupport123@pm.me for a full refund, no questions asked. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.
Cryptocurrency payments: Crypto payments are irreversible by nature. Refunds for crypto purchases are issued in the same cryptocurrency at the current exchange rate, less network fees.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice via email (if we have one) or a homepage banner. Price changes take effect at your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price takes effect to avoid being charged the new amount.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
AI-generated puzzles may occasionally contain errors, factual inaccuracies, or ambiguities. We make no warranty that any puzzle has a single correct answer.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim, regardless of legal theory, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date. Substantive changes will be announced via a homepage notice for at least 14 days. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the United States. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights under your local law.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
